Choosing the Right Account for Your Business
Business Privilege Pay covers the overdrafts for eligible business accounts for up to one business checking account. It is a courtesy service covering expenses that can’t be paid when you unintentionally do not have enough funds in either your checking account or other overdraft protection sources. Business members are automatically enrolled into Business Privilege Pay, including business debit card transactions (and those authorized on behalf of the business), sixty days after a new business membership is established.

A fee is assessed for each Business Privilege Pay item paid (total items up to a maximum limit of $1,500 including Business Privilege Pay item fees) as set forth in the
Business Fee Schedule. You have 30 days to repay the negative balance however, we will withdraw funds from other business accounts as early as the following day if funds are available to bring the negative balance current.
Overdraft protection from a business savings account is subject to a fee in accordance with the
Business Fee Schedule and to the maximum number of transactions described in the transaction limitations section in HVCU’s Business Account Agreement. You may also want to consider opening a
business line of credit as a source for overdraft protection on your account.
